While Ammon was planting the new tree, in the rain, Ephriam, Addie, & I were standing on the patio watching. Mostly I was watching and the kids were playing.
But anyway.... Ephriam was sitting in a little chair and Addie was on her bike. She rode it over and stopped right in front of the chair. Then she started tickling Ephriam. He didn't want her to so he pushed her hand away. They did this a few times until as he pushed forward she backed away on her bike and he fell out of the chair.......and hit his eye right on the pedal of her bike! Well the little spiky things, that help you have traction, cut under his eye and it started to swell up and bleed. This morning it is a full out black eye! Oh the joy of having a boy! The most Addie ever got was a little scratch. Nothing like that ever happened. But I guess she didn't have an older sibling helping her along either! Anyway just to let you know........ the black eye on the right is from his sister, and the red thing by his eye is a BIRTH MARK.......we have NOT been beating our child! :)
BTW- the crying picture was because his dad and sister went out the gate and he didn't get to go with them. It was NOT from when he got hurt...I'm not that mean. And he was crying way to hard and to much for me to even THINK about taking the picture at that moment!
