To My Adopted Child
Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone,
Yet still, miraculously, my own.
Never forget for a single minute-
You didn't grow under my heart, but in it.

Jake's Quilt: Aunt Carla C
Aunt Carla's wish says:
To My Adopted Child
Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone,
Yet still, miraculously, my own.
Never forget for a single minute-
You didn't grow under my heart, but in it.
